Still Trying

I have been slacking. No joke. Eating healthy still, not gaining weight back but I haven't been working out and thats keeping me from losing. David as always though is considerate and inspiring. In one of his classes today he discovered he only has 8% body fat. Holy. Shit. It is insane. David doesn't really 'try' to keep fit anymore or have to try to work out, it is so much a part of hive life now that it is so easy for him to just keep losing weight. So I'm back on my schedule and I just signed up for weight watchers again, it worked a long time ago so I'm hoping it will help again. Try to keep updated more! Lets get this done!

Couch to 5k Progress

While this is my sixth week, I'm technically only on week 3 of the workout. I had some slacking and a lot of biking instead of just running, and I actually repeated week 2 three times. Yowza. But I do like it, and I'm getting better and keeping my pace up and working longer. I've also added a routine from women's fitness for squats, jumping jacks and such that I really enjoy. Basically things are good and I've seen a little bit of physical progress but as a whole I feel So much better and I haven't been sick yet (thats a big deal for me!) Hopefully I will have progress pics up in the next few weeks, after I keep working on my tan a bit =]

Motivation Clothes!

Because you have to dress cute while you sweat buckets. Oh yeah baby. I know I've been slacking on the blog, so I'll try to keep updating soon. LOTS of biking this week, 15 miles Monday and about another 15 yesterday. Woo doggie. It feels good even with the hot weather. Also I made this today, t-shirt to tank top from pinterest then just hand painted my design on the front. Finished with a bow on the back! Super cute!

Couch to 5k


David did his first 5k race a few weeks back. He actually ran for a friend who was sick, which mean he hadn't ran in weeks, didn't train, wasn't prepared. And still ran a consistent 9 1/2 minute mile. Damn boy. So now he's decided we should run a half marathon...Oh hey boy lets just get me running in the first place. I have 10 weeks until the Portland Foam Fun Run and this is the 9 week Couch to 5K program from Cool Running. Its actually a phone app you can download but I don't have a data plan. Its only three times a week for 9 weeks, which seems pretty amazing...so we will see how it goes! David will do most of it with me, even though he doesn't need to. I'll keep yall updated. I'll put it under "Workouts" and you can check out the full schedule.

New Shoes!

I've been gone for a while again. I'm pretty terrible at this apparently. But I'm finally moved to Eugene and I've started working out again with my awesome bf David, he rocks and keeping me going. Being the amazing guy he is, for my late birthday gift I was finally able to get a pair of good shoes! He works for Nike and gave me brand new awesome Pegasus+28 shoes (which he also has, we're that couple). I'm a little bummed his store didn't have cool colors and I should've ordered online but I love LOVE love these shoes. It's the first time I've gone running my foot that was broken didn't hurt, my hips didn't keep me up at night and no shin pains. Amazing. So get ready to hear about more running from me!
They're actually much more pink, which I kind of love to rock. Maybe I'll get a pic of my whole outfit cause I'm pretty damn cute when I run.
